Job summary

NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace offers an internship in the Meetings and Events department. You will support the team in handling group reservations and events, assist with planning, and ensure excellent guest experiences in a landmark property.

As part of the Minor Hotels Europe & Americas group, you will gain hands-on experience, upsell opportunities, and participation in training programs, with competitive compensation and employee discounts across our hotels.

Your Day-to-Day at NH Collection

When the contract for a meeting, event or group reservation has been completed by our Sales colleagues, you are the one to take over. You are the main contact person for our customers who are arranging Meetings & Events with us. You will ensure that the event is perfectly prepared. Also, you will make sure that all details are taken care of and that the wishes of the customer are included in the script. An important aspect of the internship is maximizing revenue through upselling and cross-selling. You take care of any last-minute changes and maintain communication with both the customer and the various (executive) departments in the hotel. After all, they carry out the event you have prepared. Thanks to your organizational talent, our customers continue to make bookings at Minor Hotels with pleasure and confidence!
