Job summary

NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace is seeking a Banqueting Employee (full-time) to prepare meeting rooms and support events with immaculate hospitality in a landmark hotel in Amsterdam. You will ensure all events run smoothly, manage room setup, coffee breaks, and attend to guests with attention to dietary needs and service excellence.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality flair, a keen eye for detail, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in Meeting & Events and/or Banqueting in a 5* hotel is useful but not mandatory
• English language proficiency adequate; Dutch is a plus
• Excellent guest service and attention to detail are essential

Responsibilities

• Prepare meeting rooms to ensure events run professionally and smoothly
• Open and prepare rooms and coffee areas at start of shifts
• Refresh rooms and breaks between sessions; support kitchen and event teams
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guests’ dietary and service requirements
• Provide an exceptional guest experience aligned with NH Collection standards
