Job summary

Databricks in Amsterdam seeks a technical leader and lead architect to own the Data + AI vision for a major health technology enterprise. You will steer a multi-year program, set the technical direction, and coordinate a global pod of architects, specialists and partners to deliver measurable outcomes.

You will partner with executives to articulate platform strategy, prototype critical capabilities, and drive adoption across regions and business units while scaling GenAI capabilities from pilot

Qualifications

10+ years in data engineering or AI architecture with customer-facing leadership.
Hands-on experience with Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks.
Proven ability to win platform decisions across multi-region enterprises.
Proficient in Python and SQL, prototyping including AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

Define the customer's enterprise Data + AI vision with CxO and VP stakeholders, tied to business priorities.
Lead the account pod technically and align cross-functional teams to a single plan and value path.
Architect large-scale data platforms with governance and security models; drive production ML, MLOps and GenAI.
Scale GenAI and agentic AI from pilot to production across business units; build reusable IP.
