Yanmar in Almere, Netherlands seeks a Sales Engineer to drive sales growth by translating customer needs into technical and commercial solutions. You will manage projects from lead generation to proposal and contracting, coordinating with Application Engineering, Service, Operations, and Production teams to deliver lifecycle customer solutions.

The role requires a strong commercial focus, ability to work in an international environment, and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• 5–8 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or application engineering.
• Fluent in English; additional Dutch is a plus.
• Applicants must reside in the Netherlands and be eligible to work there.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and qualify sales opportunities, supporting conversion to orders.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and commercial propositions.
• Prepare and present technical proposals and quotations.
• Explain complex solutions in a clear, customer-focused way.
• Support contract discussions within defined commercial frameworks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and production to ensure feasibility.
• Ensure smooth handover from sales to production with complete information.
• Deliver lifecycle solutions aligned with applications engineering, service, and operations.
• Assist with product launches, exhibitions, and regional activities.
• Conduct customer visits and technical presentations.
