Job summary

Airborne International is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with Lean expertise to define and optimize high‑volume production lines for substrate panels, driving efficiency, quality, and on‑time delivery.

You will lead process development, mentor teams, and collaborate with engineers and the production staff. The role is onsite in the Netherlands near The Hague, with a start window between 07:00 and 09:00.

Qualifications

• Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Lean Expertise: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Industry Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing, design, or production environment with Lean projects.
• Leadership Skills: Mentoring and leading production teams with strong communication.
• Bilingual Advantage: English required, Dutch highly preferred.
• The Hague: reside within commuting distance of The Hague.
• Onsite: role is predominantly onsite with start times 07:00–09:00.

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: identify waste and inefficiencies; implement improvements.
• Composite Manufacturing: lead process development and tooling for composites.
• Risk Mitigation: anticipate and mitigate production risks.
• Continuous Improvement: drive ongoing standardization and improvements.
• Team Leadership: coach and lead production teams across projects.
• Machine Procurement Support: assist in equipment specs and procurement.
• Innovation in Production Lines: implement new lines for cutting-edge products.
• First Line Support: act as first contact for production issues.
