You’ll take the lead in calculating resource requirements, determining production cadence, and developing technical specifications for machinery, utilities, and facility upgrades.

In addition, you’ll set up real-time effectiveness monitors to ensure smooth production, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency. You’ll also act as a mentor and leader, guiding team members and supporting production until the project is fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Composite Manufacturing: Lead process development, including tooling for composite materials.
  • Risk Mitigation: Anticipate and mitigate risks during production.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stimulate ongoing process improvements and standardization.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and lead production teams within various projects, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
  • Machine Procurement Support: Assist in the technical specifications and procurement of new machinery.
  • Innovation in Production Lines: Implement and optimize new production lines for cutting-edge products.
  • First Line Support: Act as the first point of contact for resolving production issues.

You’ll work closely with a dynamic team of engineers (structural, design, CAD), quality experts, project managers, and the production team to ensure projects are executed flawlessly.

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.).
  • Lean Expertise: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and a strong grasp of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Industry Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, design, or production environment, with a proven track record in implementing Lean projects.
  • Leadership Skills: A natural mentor with excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of zooming in on details while keeping the big picture in mind.
  • Bilingual Advantage: While English is essential, proficiency in Dutch is highly preferred.
