Job summary

Hotelprofessionals is seeking an intern at Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam to support daily operations and gain insight into hotel management. The ideal candidate is a Bachelor or Master student in Hospitality or related fields, available for a minimum of 5 months.

• Support the General Manager in daily operations and leadership tasks, gaining insight into hotel‑wide decision making.
• Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and a consistent guest experience.
• Assist department heads with management activities such as administration, planning, scheduling, and quality checks.
• Contribute to improving commercial and operational performance by supporting sales initiatives, events, promotions, and new ideas.
• Actively participate in meetings, projects, and leadership activities as part of the internship program.

Qualifications

Essential requirements

• Registered with a recognized educational institution for a leadership or management internship.
• Currently in the 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor program, or enrolled in a Master program, preferably in Hospitality, Business, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Available for an internship duration of at least 5 months.
• Strong interest in leadership, hotel operations, and hospitality management.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a professional, proactive attitude.

Preferred requirements

• Previous internship or work experience in hospitality or a service‑driven environment.
• Interest in commercial performance, leadership development, and process improvement.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
