Job summary

Sircle Collection is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Amsterdam to ensure safe, smooth operation of hotel facilities. You will work closely with the Maintenance Coordinator, own technical issue resolution, and perform preventative maintenance across guest areas and equipment.

The role requires hands-on hospitality maintenance experience, fluency in Dutch and English, and a strong technical mindset with a bias for quality and service improvements. The position is based at our Amsterdam hotels.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within hospitality.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, in spoken and written form.
• Strong knowledge of electricity, gas and water systems.
• Technically minded, energetic, flexible and proactive in finding improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve technical issues and perform daily inspection rounds in the hotel.
• Repair and maintain hotel equipment and assets as scheduled or as requested by guests.
• Serve as first point of contact for third parties for unresolved technical problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on hotel guest rooms.
• Ensure periodic checks and maintenance of machinery.

To succeed in this role, we believe you should have been working in a similar role within hospitality for at least one year. You have excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of electricity/ gas/ water systems. It goes without saying that you are a technical guru who is energetic, flexible, have a technical mindset and always looking for new ways to optimize.
