Job summary

Vondel Hotels B.V is seeking a versatile maintenance technician to uphold the condition and safety of all hotel buildings. You will handle routine tasks and collaborate with teams to resolve issues promptly.

The role requires hands-on capability, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward safety and preventive care across all hotel locations in the Amsterdam area.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining and repairing building systems.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Good communication within a hotel maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of hotel buildings and equipment.
• Ensure safety standards are upheld across sites.
• Liaise with subcontractors for specialist tasks and repairs.
• Diagnose and fix malfunctions and coordinate with colleagues as needed.

Job description

Are you a technical all-rounder with an eye for detail? Do you have a hands-on mentality? Do you enjoy fixing things? Then we are looking for you!

You are responsible for carrying out all common technical tasks. In addition, you ensure that everything in and around the buildings of Vondel Hotels is in top condition, and you help keep your colleagues alert when it comes to safety. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the hotels are well-maintained and safe, both for guests and your fellow colleagues. Maintaining contact with subcontractors is also part of your responsibilities. You resolve any malfunctions and maintain our equipment. For specialist tasks, Vondel Hotels works with external companies.

Note!: For this position, it is mandatory to live in the Netherlands and to have valid Dutch health insurance.

THE (PERFECT) MATCH

You are a versatile colleague who knows how to maintain buildings and ensure safety. You enjoy working in a team where each colleague has their own specialty. You have experience in installation and construction engineering. Experience in a technical service role is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of the hospitality industry is an advantage, but everything can be learned. You have a strong technical foundation and a willingness to learn. Working in a team energizes you, but you are also capable of working independently. You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
