Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium Amsterdam invites applications for a Spa Therapist to join the Akasha Spa team. You will deliver wellness and beauty treatments to the highest standards within our luxury hotel, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires at least two years’ spa experience, fluent English (Dutch a plus), and flexibility for a 38-hour rotating schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Academic background in hospitality, health, wellness or sports.
• A minimum of two years’ experience as a therapist in a Spa, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Excellent proficiency in the English language (Dutch is a plus).
• A strong sense of responsibility: always follows up, is accurate and knows how to deliver exceptional and personalised service.

Responsibilities

• Providing wellness and beauty treatments to the highest level of quality by following our service standards.
• Conduct treatment consultations with high levels of emotional intelligence and be able to quickly adapt to the guests needs/requirements.
• Maintaining the cleanliness treatment rooms in down time.
• Provide advice on wellness products to ensure retail sales.
• Adherence to health and safety standards at all times.
