Job summary

Rosewood Hotel Group in the Netherlands seeks a passionate Sommelier to curate wine experiences in our luxury restaurant. You will guide guests through our wine list, suggest pairings, and deliver discreet, attentive service.

You will collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to maintain an exceptional wine program, train staff, manage cellar inventory, and contribute to ongoing development in wine and hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sommelier in upscale or fine dining is required.
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and food pairing principles.
• Polished, professional, and service-oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert wine recommendations and food pairing guidance to guests.
• Deliver attentive, personalized wine service in line with luxury hospitality standards.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the wine list, vintages, regions, and producers.
• Manage the wine cellar, including inventory, stock rotation, and ordering.
• Collaborate with restaurant management to develop and maintain the wine list.
• Train the restaurant team on wines, beverages, and service standards.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and presentation of all wines.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create exceptional dining experiences.
