Job summary

W Amsterdam, part of Corendon Hotels & Resorts, is hiring a Houseman to join the Style Team, ensuring the hotel looks flawless and delivers a seamless guest experience. You will support Stylists, Engineering, Welcome Desk, and Laundry while keeping public areas pristine.

You bring at least one year in a similar role and fluent English. Dutch language skills are a plus; a valid Netherlands work permit is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Fluent English required; Dutch or additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in luxury hospitality is advantageous; valid work permit for the Netherlands is required.
• Hands-on, detail-driven mindset; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Warm, guest-focused approach with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standout guest service with the Whatever/Whenever approach.
• Know the hotel inside out and maintain high service and cleanliness standards.
• Prepare and hand over shifts smoothly in a fast-paced, rotating schedule.
• Support multiple departments and act as a liaison across Style, Engineering, Welcome Desk, and Laundry.
• Manage linen flow: collect, sort, restock, and supply clean linen to Stylists.
• Refill amenities and supplies throughout the hotel and keep inventory organized.
• Clean public areas including corridors, bins, windows, and storages.
• Assist guests with extra beds, cribs, heaters, and amenities.
• Help with room stripping/cleaning when needed.
• Report maintenance and safety issues promptly.
• Use equipment and cleaning products correctly and safely.
• Do whatever creates an unforgettable guest experience.
