Job summary

Hyatt Regency Amsterdam is seeking a Houseman to join our five-star team. In this full-time role you will clean public areas, greet guests, complete daily reports, and support colleagues to uphold our standards of hospitality.

You should enjoy being hands-on, have English language skills (Dutch preferred), and be legally eligible to work in the Netherlands. We offer travel allowances, vacation days, uniform care, and Hyatt employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hotel services.
• Good English communication; Dutch language skills preferred.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands (EU/EEA passport or valid work permit).

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, dusting, polishing and vacuuming public areas as assigned, replacing required supplies and ensuring hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
• Acknowledging and greeting guests with a friendly smile during your shift.
• Completing daily section reports as instructed by supervisor; handling assignment sheets.
• Providing assistance to co-workers and guests as needed.
• Notifying supervisor of guest complaints, comments, maintenance issues or lost-and-found items.
• Performing other necessary duties upon request.
