Job summary

Corendon Hotels & Resorts in Amsterdam seeks a Front Office Supervisor for W Amsterdam. You will lead the Welcome Desk team, ensuring seamless check-ins and exemplifying Whatever/Whenever service to create memorable guest experiences.

Fluency in English is required; Dutch or another language is a plus. Minimum one year in a Front Office Supervisor/Team Leader role and 5* luxury experience are expected; a valid Netherlands work permit is required.

• Experience in 5* Luxury Segment
• Valid working permit for The Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Welcome Office Manager
• Responsible for the daily operations at our Welcome Desk; part of a bigger team
• Put guests at the center of everything we do; create unforgettable guest experiences
• You are the hotel and city expert; know facilities and possibilities
• Welcoming and helping guests throughout their stay; follow service standards
• Show Whatever/Whenever service to personalize guest experiences
• Assist staff with expediting problem payments (e.g., problems processing credit card)
• Follow up with guest regarding satisfaction
• Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing keys
• Process all payment types; set up accurate accounts for each guest
• Anticipate sold-out situations and offer alternatives
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve guest issues
• Train, coach, and motivate employees; ensure professionalism
• Adhere to safety, policies, and confidentiality
• Rotating shifts; weekends/evenings/night shifts
• Fast-paced environment; lively atmosphere with music
