Job summary

Corendon is recruiting a Bell Captain for W Amsterdam, a bold, luxurious hotel at Dam Square. You’ll manage and guide Welcome ambassadors, create schedules, handle luggage logistics, and ensure guests receive extraordinary service with Our Whatever/Whenever approach.

The role requires at least one year in a similar position, fluency in English, and a willingness to work in a luxury, dynamic setting. Dutch language and a valid NL work permit are pluses; driver’s license B is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience in the same or similar role.
• Fluency in English.
• Dutch and any other language is appreciated.
• Experience in the Luxury Segment is an advantage.
• Work Permit for The Netherlands is required.
• Driver license B is a must.

Responsibilities

• Guide Welcome ambassadors.
• Ensure Welcome Ambassadors fulfill their tasks and responsibilities correctly.
• Create work schedules.
• Check the luggage storeroom by means of correct administration of all luggage / packages stored.
• Avoiding and dealing with guests complaints.
• Show guests our Whatever/Whenever service and personalize that service.
• Welcoming and helping guests throughout their stay, following service standards and SOPs.
• Follow all safety policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions; maintain confidentiality.
• Valet parking; receive and transport guests’ luggage; accompany guests to locations.
• Provide information regarding hotel facilities and local activities; make reservations.
