Job summary

PRADA in Amsterdam is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to act as the Store Manager's right hand, embodying Prada's philosophy on the shop floor, guiding the team, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

You will analyze reports, drive sales, coach staff, ensure brand standards, and promote omni-channel and e-commerce initiatives while maintaining visual standards and operational compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing a boutique/department store in the luxury or premium retail sector.
• Strong understanding of luxury retail and product knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of the local client market and customer portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in defining business strategies to exceed financial targets and maximise sales performance.
• Coach the store team to develop clear action plans for KPI targets, including cross-selling and up-selling.
• Act as a brand ambassador on the shop floor and in local market activities, ensuring high service standards.
• Promote Omni-Channel awareness and support the development of the e-commerce channel.
• Participate in recruitment, market mapping, and interviews as needed.
• Ensure visual displays attract customers and align with company guidelines.
• Oversee cash handling, inventory, logistics, and reporting to Head Office.
• Foster collaboration between front and back of house and maintain staff grooming standards.
