Job summary

NewPort Tank Containers is seeking a logistics-focused coordinator who ensures smooth order processing from A to Z and acts as the main contact for customers. You will monitor shipments, verify documents for completeness, and coordinate with internal and external teams to keep operations running efficiently.

Ideal candidates are accurate, organized, and proactive, with strong communication skills. This is a full-time role based in the Netherlands, with an international team and onboarding

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Available full time or 32/36 hours per week.
• Open to candidates starting out or with experience.
• MBO-4 or HBO level is preferred.
• Accurate, organized, and able to maintain overview of multiple processes.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on process improvements.
• Clear communication with colleagues, customers and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor order processing from A to Z to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers and provide timely updates on shipments.
• Collaborate with truck planning and internal teams to verify delivery status and resolve issues.
• Check documentation for completeness and accuracy and update stakeholders.
• Respond to urgent questions and liaise with international colleagues to avoid delays.
• Discuss process improvements during team sessions and implement efficient workflows.
