Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in the Netherlands is seeking a Clinical Operations professional to lead country study activities within the PPD FSP portfolio. You will manage study delivery, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely, high-quality clinical data across regions.

You will coordinate local teams, liaise with medical and regulatory staff, monitor performance, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines. Travel may be involved as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 3+ years).
• Experience in site monitoring

Responsibilities

• Leads the local study team consisting of within-country clinical operations team members, cross-functional experts, vendor staff, and external clinical site staff involved in study preparation and delivery.
• Serves as the operational point-of-contact between the central study team and within-country study team.
• Accountable for within-country delivery of assigned studies to time, budget, and quality expectations.
• Manages development of country study plans, budgets, resource estimates, milestones, timelines, and risk planning.
• Ensures development of country/site-level risk assessment and mitigation plans; elevates issues as needed.
• Reviews Monitoring Visit Reports and ensures monitoring activities are completed per the plan.
