Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Breda, Netherlands, seeks a driven Manager Clinical Operations to lead a Local Trial Management team. You will oversee trial delivery, site engagement and staff development while ensuring quality, timelines and regulatory compliance.

Office presence is three days per week. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration and expertise in GCP, Dutch regulations, and global trial standards.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Life Sciences or related field with 8+ years clinical research experience in pharma, CRO or investigational site.
• At least 2 years of line management experience desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication and ability to champion team productivity and cohesiveness.
• Proficient in English and Dutch; ability to engage with stakeholders across sites and regulators.

Responsibilities

• People management: lead, evaluate performance and develop the team; hire/train and forecast resource needs.
• Trial delivery & oversight: oversee feasibility, start-up, execution and monitoring of trials; ensure inspection readiness.
• Continuous improvement & organizational change: lead innovation, foster learning and drive metrics-based actions.
• Co-develop country strategy and drive tactics to full implementation.
• Help shaping the Dutch Clinical Trial Landscape.
• Participates in global initiatives as assigned.
