Job summary

Amgen Breda is seeking multiple Line Leads Manufacturing to coordinate daily production activities, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor. The role blends technical know-how with leadership across a regulated, high-standard manufacturing environment.

You will oversee staffing, priorities, handovers, and problem-solving discussions while developing team members and ensuring safety and quality. Strong English skills are essential; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• MBO or HBO degree in a technical/industrial field (e.g. VAPRO B/C, MLO, MTS, Post-HBO certification).
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to influence and motivate others.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and structured problem solving.
• Willingness and ability to work in a 2-shift, 3-shift & 5-shifts schedule.
• Strong English communication skills; Dutch is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations, including staffing, materials, equipment, and production priorities.
• Lead shift handovers, team meetings, and problem-solving discussions.
• Provide clear task allocation, guidance, and coaching to team members.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support investigations and collaborate closely with Quality, Maintenance, and other cross-functional teams.
• Develop strong technical expertise on equipment and manufacturing processes and actively support production when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and team performance.
