Job summary

Amgen Breda is seeking a Senior Operator & Delegate Line Lead to oversee a GMP-regulated production line. You will act as the first escalation point when the Line Lead is absent, ensuring stable production and compliant operations.

You will lead on-line activities, support troubleshooting, and drive Lean/CI initiatives while coaching operators. The role requires shift work and a strong quality mindset in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• MBO+ or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum 7 years in highly regulated automated production environments.
• Operational leadership experience on the shop floor.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset for disturbances.
• Familiarity with SAP/MES systems and Lean/Six Sigma.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and a structured way of working.

Responsibilities

• Execute production activities according to SOPs and GMP standards.
• Act as first point of escalation during operational disturbances.
• Support troubleshooting activities and escalation management.
• Participate in triage and cross-functional problem-solving activities.
• Support daily operational leadership on the production line during delegated leadership periods.
• Support achievement of production targets, quality objectives, and line performance.
• Coordinate workload, prioritize tasks and maintain team communication.
• Contribute to onboarding, coaching, and guidance of operators on the line.
• Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
