Job summary

Amgen Breda is seeking a Line Lead Manufacturing to coordinate daily operations on site. You will guide staffing, materials, equipment, and priorities, while coaching team members and driving problem-solving on the shop floor.

You will work in a regulated, high‑tech environment with opportunities to lead and develop a high-performing team as Amgen expands its manufacturing footprint in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• MBO or HBO degree in a technical or industrial field is required.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is essential.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to influence and motivate others.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and structured problem solving.
• Willingness to work in a 2-, 3-, or 5-shift schedule.
• Strong English communication skills; Dutch is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily manufacturing operations, including staffing, materials, equipment, and production priorities.
• Lead shift handovers, team meetings, and problem-solving discussions.
• Provide clear task allocation, guidance, and coaching to team members.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support investigations and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and cross-functional teams.
• Develop technical expertise on equipment and processes and assist production when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and team performance.
• Help prepare the manufacturing organization for future growth and challenges.
