Job summary

Iberostar is seeking a Cook 1 to join the culinary team at Tierra del Sol Golf Course. The role involves preparing proteins, sauces and batch productions for the Golf Club restaurant, while ensuring safety and high hygiene standards.

You will set up equipment, handle ingredients, know the daily menu, and assist with kitchen operations to maintain efficiency in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 2 years' experience in a cook role.
• Knowledge of hygiene, quality certifications and occupational safety.
• Understanding of logistics, receipt of goods and storage.
• Ability to supervise kitchen areas and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up equipment, and handle daily production tasks.
• Know dishes on the menu and cover breaks of senior cooks.
• Collect ingredients and manage proper storage and portions.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in all kitchen areas.
• Support kitchen operations to preserve efficiency and performance.
