As Legal Counsel, your role is to provide advice in accordance with relevant legislation, legal policies, and organisational procedures. If necessary, you will work in collaboration with external parties to minimise legal risks and support the execution of various working processes. At Huisman, your responsibilities will include drafting, negotiating, and finalizing commercial contracts. You will also be responsible for ensuring that internal legal information is up-to-date and available in legal databases, such as corporate data, contracts, and agreements. Additionally, you will analyze and contribute to the translation of relevant legislation into legal guidelines, procedures, codes, contracts, and models, and support their implementation. Supporting the drafting of legal letters, notes, and decisions in accordance with legal policies and procedures. Contributing to the effective handling of legal issues, claims, disputes, and litigation in favour of the organisation.
