Huisman, based in Schiedam, Netherlands, is seeking a Mechanical Routing Engineer to join its global team of innovators. • Acting pro-actively towards all the stakeholders to come to a cost effective design.

You Have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an MBO Level 4 technicus engineering;
• Experience as a Mechanical Routing Engineer within the offshore or maritime sector;
• We are also open to candidates who are willing and motivated to learn this role;
• Experience in both 2D and 3D CAD design; knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor is an advantage;
• A strong affinity with, or interest in, complex mechanical systems;
• The ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and to set the right priorities.

Some Practical Things We Need You To Have

• An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
• A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
