Job summary

Thales is seeking a Lean Improvement Engineer to work on the shop floor with operational managers to deploy Lean and improve performance. You will tackle diverse challenges with a hands-on approach, focusing on customer satisfaction and efficiency.

You will join the Lean Improvement Team within the Industry Operations organization in Amsterdam, contributing to the industrial transformation and global collaboration while pursuing personal and professional growth in a flexible, modern environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in industrial related field.
• Experience in Lean within an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of the Toyota Production System.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Hands-on mentality and willingness to roll up sleeves.
• Experience leading Lean projects and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Spend significant time on the shop floor with operations to deploy Lean and improve performance.
• Solve complex shop-floor problems to implement Lean efficiently for operators and managers.
• Lead Lean projects as consultant and hands-on implementer, individually or with the Lean Team.
