Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Manager of People Analytics, based in the Netherlands, to lead a multidisciplinary team building data-driven products transforming workforce data into strategic insights.

You will push beyond reporting to predictive analytics, driving AI-powered tools and privacy-conscious data ecosystems across a distributed organization. Expect international travel 2–4 times yearly.

Qualifications

• Academic background in data science, mathematics, engineering, or another quantitative discipline with strong statistics foundations.
• Experience with data science, data wrangling, databases, SQL, software engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Strong coding or scripting capabilities in Python, R, JavaScript, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with data visualization and analytics platforms.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clearly defined objectives.
• Sustained ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong product mindset and roadmap execution.
• Interest in AI, data platforms, automation, and open-source tech.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary squad of People Data Scientists, Engineers, and UX Designers.
• Own development of people analytics products turning workforce data into strategic insights.
• Bridge people science, business needs, and software engineering into clear priorities.
• Move from descriptive reporting to predictive analytics and prescriptive insights.
• Translate complex models and findings into clear narratives for leaders.
• Guide AI-powered tools to surface insights in a timely, accessible way.
• Establish data stewardship, ensuring GDPR-compliant privacy and reliability.
• Develop a trusted People Data ecosystem with high-quality information.
• Identify opportunities to automate for higher-value human work.
• Build strategic roadmaps and ensure teams deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Promote data literacy, responsible use, experimentation, and improvement.
