Job summary
Sire Search is seeking a Lead Facility Technician at our Breda, Netherlands site. You will support safe, reliable, and compliant operation of critical utility and facility systems in a highly automated pharmaceutical setting.
You will coach technicians, coordinate maintenance with contractors and vendors, troubleshoot complex issues, and help drive reliability and continuous improvement. Strong communication and hands-on technical skills are essential.
Qualifications
- MBO or HBO level technical education or equivalent experience.
- Experience in utilities, facilities, maintenance, or industrial installations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Hands-on technical mindset.
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities, contractors, projects, or technical teams.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to coach, guide, and support technical colleagues.
- Good English communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Experience in a GMP environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP PM or CMMS is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for utility systems and facility infrastructure
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to technicians and contractors
- Troubleshoot complex utility and facility related technical issues
- Collaborate with Facilities and Engineering teams, operations, contractors, and external vendors
- Support HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, chilled water, boiler, and building automation systems
- Drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Help ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and compliantly
- Participate in the on call rotation for critical utility systems

The Lead Facility Technician is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of critical utility and facility systems within a highly automated pharmaceutical environment. The role combines hands on technical expertise with coordination, troubleshooting, leadership, and coaching. You will work closely with technicians, engineers, contractors, vendors, and operations teams while contributing to reliability and continuous improvement.
