Job summary

Panda International seeks a Lead Technician Utilities to ensure reliable operation of critical utility systems in our pharma manufacturing, warehousing, and offices in Breda, NL. You will lead technicians, coordinate maintenance, and drive safety and compliance in a highly automated facility.

You will work with facilities, engineering, contractors, and vendors, provide technical coaching, support problem-solving, and contribute to reliability improvements and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• MBO+/HBO-level education or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience in utilities, facilities, maintenance, or industrial installations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on mindset.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities, projects, contractors, or technical teams.
• Good communication skills and ability to coach colleagues.
• English communication; willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• GMP experience and SAP PM or CMMS knowledge is a plus.

Lead Technician Utilities

As a Lead Technician Utilities, you play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation of the critical utility systems that support our manufacturing, warehousing, and offices. You combine technical expertise with leadership and coaching skills. Working closely with technicians, engineers, contractors, and operations teams, you help ensure maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently, and compliantly while supporting the development of others. You'll work on systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, chilled water, boilers, and building automation systems within a modern, highly automated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. As our site continues to expand, these systems are becoming increasingly important to support future growth.

What you will do

In this role, you will:
