Job summary

Royal IHC is seeking a Lead Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation to take ownership of the electrical discipline within multidisciplinary project teams. You will drive technical discussions, coordinate with engineering, procurement and project management, and mentor junior engineers.

With a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering and hands-on experience in EPLAN, AutoCAD and PLM systems, you will balance technical depth with stakeholder management and deliver high‑quality solutions for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar).
• Experience with EPLAN (electrical design) is required.
• AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting) is a must, SolidWorks/Solid Edge are a plus.
• Experience with PLM systems (Siemens TeamCenter) or similar.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to balance technical detail with a helicopter view.
• Organisational and planning skills to lead electrical scopes.

Responsibilities

• Represent the electrical discipline within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Lead technical discussions and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management.
• Design, integrate, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems (electromechanical).
• Interpret 3D models for assemblies and layouts.
• Act as a liaison between departments for smooth coordination and integration.
• Translate technical requirements into practical designs and deliverables.
• Monitor progress and ensure electrical work aligns with plan, budget and quality.
• Support project meetings and contribute to stakeholder management.
• Coach junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.
