Job summary

Royal IHC in the Netherlands is seeking a Lead Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation (junior) to support and eventually lead the electrical discipline on multidisciplinary projects. You will own design tasks, collaborate with senior engineers and contribute to technical decisions.

You’ll grow technically and professionally with a clear path to management, using EPLAN, Teamcenter and CAD tools to deliver robust electrical solutions across maritime applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar).
• Related work experience in maritime industry.
• Familiar with design tools and electrical design processes.
• Experience with EPLAN, AutoCAD; SolidWorks/Solid Edge advantageous.
• PLM systems (Siemens TeamCenter) or SAP ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of basic and detailed electrical designs.
• Translate specifications into engineering deliverables.
• Support preparation of engineering packages and documentation.
• Create and update electrical schematics (EPLAN).
• Maintain engineering part data in systems (Eplan, Teamcenter).
• Assist in risk and feasibility assessments and issue resolution.
