Overview

To strengthen our team, we’re looking for a Lead Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation. In this role, you’ll contribute both technically and organisationally to multidisciplinary projects, taking ownership of the electrical discipline. Responsibilities

• Represent the electrical discipline within multidisciplinary project teams
• Lead technical discussions and align with engineering, procurement, and project management
• Design, integrate, and troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies
• Interpret 3D models for assemblies and layouts
• Act as liaison between departments to ensure smooth coordination and integration
• Translate technical requirements into practical designs and deliverables
• Monitor progress and ensure electrical work aligns with planning, budget, and quality standards
• Support project meetings and contribute to stakeholder management
• Coach junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
• Experience with EPLAN (electrical design), AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting), and any mechanical application (SolidWorks/Solid Edge) is an advantage
• Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems (Siemens TeamCenter) or similar
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to balance technical detail with a helicopter view
• Organisational and planning skills to lead electrical scopes effectively
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
• Leadership potential and the ambition to grow into a management role

• Gross monthly salary between €5,500 and €6,600 +8% holiday allowance (based on 40 hours a week)
• €0.21 per kilometre commuting allowance
