Job summary

AKQA Amsterdam is seeking an Associate Design Director to shape how brands come to life through digital experiences. You will combine strong design thinking with digital craft, turning ideas into interfaces, interactions and systems that feel intuitive and part of the brand.

You will work with senior leaders to raise the craft of the work and grow the design team. You design by doing, using Figma and prototyping to explore ideas, test interactions and define design systems.

Qualifications

• Lead the digital craft across digital products, services and experiences.
• Shape the experience by translating brand, business and human needs into useful interfaces.
• Build scalable, brand-led design systems with components, tokens and AI.
• Design by doing with hands-on prototyping in Figma.

Responsibilities
