Job summary

Anchormen is seeking a Data Science Consultant in the Netherlands to advise clients and design AI applications for business challenges. You will lead projects with a team of engineers and data scientists, while also practicing hands-on data science and coaching others.

You will stay at the forefront of AI trends, shaping data science direction, and translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholders. This role requires strong communication and a customer-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• Being a native Dutch speaker or being able to fluently speak the language is a big plus, but being proficient in English is mandatory.
• Master's or PhD degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience leading projects and leading a team of technical people in a commercial business setting.
• Experience advising clients on AI possibilities with strong stakeholder management.
• Experienced in Python.
• Experience with Azure, AzureML and/or AWS, SageMaker and/or Databricks.
• Experience with time series forecasting, machine learning, statistics and discrete optimization techniques.
• Able to translate client needs into data science requirements.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; strong interpersonal skills and customer-centric attitude.
• NL-based candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Act as an advisor to clients and design and develop AI applications that solve business challenges.
• Lead project delivery with engineers, data scientists, and a project manager; stay involved as a data scientist.
• Coach and mentor fellow data scientists and share expertise.
• Stay up to date with AI trends and translate them into practical approaches for clients and the team.
• Present technical and business concepts to stakeholders and articulate options with risks.
