Job summary

Accenture the Netherlands is seeking a Data Science & Machine Learning Engineering Consultant to advise clients on data challenges and build scalable AI solutions within the AI & Data team of Strategy & Consulting.

You will work with major vendors and clients in the Netherlands and abroad, shaping data platforms, architectures, and productionized ML in cloud environments. Collaboration and innovation are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Math, Physics, CS, Engineering, Econometrics, Business Analytics, or Information Management) with a data focus.
• 3+ years of experience in creating and maintaining data pipeline architectures and building tools for data science.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, ML techniques, Cloud computing (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Familiar with Git, DevOps principles, command line, Spark, Docker and API frameworks.
• Proven affinity with data and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify the most suitable data solutions with clients and define solution architecture designs.
• Build long-term relationships with stakeholders and ensure alignment of objectives.
• Collaborate with clients to define architectures that meet business requirements.
• Analyze large datasets and prepare them for data science use cases.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and ML solutions, optimizing data flow.
• Drive productionization of ML models in cloud environments.
• Build GenAI-powered apps to support decision-making or automate processes.
