Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to lead and ensure smooth operation of all kitchen shifts. You will partner with the cafe management team to train and coach BOH operations while upholding company policies, specs, and procedures.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the kitchen, managing labor, monitoring food costs, inspecting equipment, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met.

Responsabilidades

• Perform opening and closing duties for the kitchen.
• Oversee shift labor to balance cost and operation.
• Monitor food costs and ensure targets are met.
• Inspect equipment and conduct routine maintenance checks.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed before shift end.
• Taste and inspect foods for freshness and adherence to recipes.
• Train new staff and uphold Hard Rock quality standards.
• Handle shift expo duties to ensure timely service.
• Prepare recipes to ensure product quality.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow safety policies.
• Enforce safety, sanitation and security procedures.
• Provide feedback and direction to Kitchen staff.
• Communicate with Kitchen team on procedures and improvements.
• Collaborate with managers to improve procedures and efficiency.
• Report issues to KM and address product, people, and performance concerns.
• Complete daily and weekly tasks across assigned areas.
