Job summary

Solid Recruitment in Amsterdam is looking for a Junior Transaction & Valuation Analyst to support the Dutch real estate portfolio. You will help analyse and model potential acquisitions and dispositions, and assist in valuation, financing, and strategic management processes.

You will build financial models, maintain databases, and coordinate with external valuers and auditors. A finance/real estate degree and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills are desired, with English fluency and Dutch being a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field.
• Internship or initial professional experience in real estate, transactions, valuations, or corporate finance is preferred.
• Experience preparing financial models and presentations is beneficial.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and numerical analysis abilities.

About the role

Our client, an international real estate investor and operator with a substantial portfolio in the Netherlands, is looking for a Junior Transaction & Valuation Analyst. In this role you support the transaction and valuation activities of the Dutch business. You contribute to the analysis and modelling of potential acquisitions and disposals, maintain transaction and valuation information, and support valuation, financing, development and strategic management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and model potential property acquisitions and disposals
• Prepare and maintain financial models and transaction presentations
• Support the full valuation process, including communication and coordination with external valuers and auditors
• Maintain and update the transaction pipeline and valuation database
• Participate in development projects, financing processes and strategic management matters
• Implement and perform periodic controls of relevant internal processes
• Provide financial and analytical support to transaction and valuation activities

Your profile

• Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration or a comparable discipline
• Relevant internship or initial professional experience in real estate, transactions, valuations, investment analysis, corporate finance or a related field is preferred
• Experience preparing financial models and analytical presentations is beneficial
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a good understanding of financial modelling and valuation principles
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to analyse information accurately and present findings clearly
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus

Preferred qualifications

• Interest in commercial real estate, property investment and capital markets
• Familiarity with real estate valuation methods and transaction processes
• Experience with transaction pipelines, valuation databases or financial reporting tools
