Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam is seeking a Junior Sous Chef Pastry to lead the dessert program for all F&B outlets in a luxury setting at Dam Square.

You will mentor the pastry team, collaborate with departments to deliver exquisite pastry creations, maintain high quality and safety standards, and stay ahead of trends.

This full-time role requires flair for pastry excellence and fluency in English.

As Junior Sous Chef Pastry at Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam you work in a culinary high-quality environment. Where you will provide all desserts and delicacies for the F&B outlets within the hotel.

• Lead your team with enthusiasm and expertise;

• Collaborate with the team to create exquisite pastry masterpieces;

• Work closely with the different departments and colleagues to ensure authentic luxury moments and service;

• Motivate and mentor your team members;

• Maintain high standards for pastry quality and safety;

• Keep track of the latest trends and techniques in pastry.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably within luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants;

• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills;

• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for pastry arts;

• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards;

• Up-to-date knowledge of pastry trends and techniques;

• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language, Dutch is a plus.
