Job summary

Panda International is seeking a Junior Support Engineer to assist the European distribution and packaging operations on the Breda shop floor. You will work with manufacturing IT systems, printers and scanners, and help deploy new Manufacturing Technology solutions, including IIoT and Generative AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• HBO/bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 0–3 years IT experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of IT application management and ITIL with hands-on mentality.
• Knowledge of GxP, GDP, distribution, and packaging is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of new technology solutions to improve manufacturing reliability and efficiency.
• Support operating system and application patching or update activities on the shopfloor.
• Deliver IT equipment to end users, Production, and Warehouse teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot technology systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Document and train staff on new technology processes and systems.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology to support the manufacturing business.
• Foster a continuous improvement mindset to optimize processes and systems.
