Job summary

Catawiki is seeking a Junior IT Support Specialist to help keep internal IT operations smooth across teams. You’ll take over tasks from an external vendor, assist with onboarding and offboarding, and provide essential IT support in a dynamic People & IT environment.

The role is ideal for recent graduates or those pivoting into IT, and requires you to be onsite four days a week with a hybrid setup between our Amsterdam and Lisbon offices.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of IT support or a related role.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset with proactive problem solving.
• Excellent organizational skills for hardware inventory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Willingness to be physically present in the office four days a week.
• Hands-on mentality and eagerness to learn IT trends.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding: Prepare IT equipment for new employees and ensure access to needed accessories.
• Onboarding Logistics: Manage hardware logistics and asset tracking for MacBooks and peripherals.
• Onboarding Support: Document onboarding processes and resolve related tickets.
• Offboarding Logistics: Coordinate return of devices and equipment for departing employees.
• Offboarding Communication: Inform and coordinate with managers for smooth offboarding.
• Asset & Logistics Management: Handle repairs, replacements, stock, and inventory.
• Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors for returns and pricing.
• eSIM Management: Handle eSIM requests and provisioning.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with employees, managers, IT, vendors, and shipping partners.
