Job summary

Jobgether in the Netherlands is seeking a Junior Support Engineer to help maintain a global testing platform. You will support cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and respond to incidents affecting critical services.

You will own tickets from triage to resolution, collaborate with international teams, and contribute to improving processes and documentation while learning from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in technical support or a comparable role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent.
• Basic incident response knowledge for network/software infra.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewalls, switches, Wi‑Fi.
• Familiarity with Linux/macOS/Android/iOS and CLI tools.

Responsibilities

• Triage and respond to incident tickets from monitoring or users.
• Track tickets through resolution within SLA timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate with global sites and on-site staff to recover services.
• Investigate disruptions and restore cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mobile devices, OS, and network issues.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for continuous coverage.
• Document troubleshooting steps and update runbooks.
• Assist with maintenance, upgrades, and deployments.
• Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues throughout incidents.
