Job summary

Us3 Consulting is seeking an experienced Junior Desktop Support Engineer for a long-term contract in Amersfoort, NL. The role covers on-site support, hardware/software troubleshooting, asset management and assistance with hardware refreshes and procurement.

The ideal candidate will handle Windows desktop support, Office applications, mobile devices, and basic network issues, including AD/GPO. Interview process is ASAP, with a focus on reliable, customer-focused IT support.

Qualifications

• Experience as a desktop support engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues onsite.
• Familiar with OS deployment, backups and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop support in Amersfoort.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; manage IT assets.
• Support mobile devices and conferencing equipment.
• Perform OS/data backup and restoration; assist with hardware refresh and procurement.
• Troubleshoot basic network, Windows AD and GPO issues.

Job description

For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Junior Desktop Support Engineer for a long contract based in Amersfoort, NL

Its paying well and my client can interview asap!

Key Skills/Knowledge:

• Operating system installation using SCCM/SCM; anti-spyware and antivirus; custom and commercial software installation;
• Windows desktop support; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, email clients); mobile devices including iPad, smartphones and iPhone;
• hardware break/fix for laptops, desktops, printers and telephony equipment;
• OS and data backup/restore; hardware procurement and asset management; hardware spare-stock maintenance;
• Audio/Video Conferencing; asset refresh; basic network troubleshooting; Windows Active Directory and Group Policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide onsite desktop support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, manage IT assets, support mobile and conferencing equipment, perform OS/data backup and restoration, assist with hardware refresh and procurement, and troubleshoot basic network and Windows AD/GPO issues.
