Job summary

Us3 Consulting is seeking a Junior Desktop Support Engineer for a long-term contract based in Eindhoven, NL. You will provide on-site support for Windows desktops, laptops, printers, and conferencing equipment, and assist with asset management and procurement.

The role involves hands-on experience with SCCM/SCM, Office applications, mobile devices, and basic network troubleshooting. You will work with IT teams to maintain AD and Group Policies and ensure reliable endpoint operations.

Qualifications

For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Junior Desktop Support Engineer for a long contract based in Eindhoven, NL

Key Skills/Knowledge:

• Operating system installation using SCCM/SCM; anti-spyware and antivirus; custom and commercial software installation;
• Windows desktop support; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, email clients); mobile devices including iPad, smartphones and iPhone;
• hardware break/fix for laptops, desktops, printers and telephony equipment;
• OS and data backup/restore; hardware procurement and asset management; hardware spare-stock maintenance;
• Audio/Video Conferencing; asset refresh; basic network troubleshooting; Windows Active Directory and Group Policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide onsite desktop support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, manage IT assets, support mobile and conferencing equipment, perform OS/data backup and restoration, assist with hardware refresh and procurement, and troubleshoot basic network and Windows AD/GPO issues.
