Job summary

Exact Software Germany GmbH in Delft/Utrecht is seeking an Application Operations Engineer to maintain the stability, performance, and availability of our cloud-hosted SaaS applications.

You will monitor, incident-manage, and automate operational tasks across Azure and AWS, collaborating with product, development and infra teams across Europe and Asia to deliver reliable service for hundreds of thousands of users.

Qualifications

• Monitor health, availability and performance of cloud-hosted applications.
• Investigate incidents, alerts and operational issues.
• Execute updates and configuration changes per SOPs.
• Collaborate with Development, Infra Operations and Product teams.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and automation initiatives.
• Support incident management and continuous improvement efforts.
• Learn cloud technologies and hosting best practices.
• Coordinate with Europe and Asia teams to ensure reliable customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health, availability, and performance of cloud-hosted applications.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, alerts, and operational issues.
• Perform operational tasks related to application management and maintenance.
• Execute application updates and configuration changes following established procedures.
• Work closely with Development, Infrastructure Operations, and Product teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
• Help improve monitoring, automation, documentation, and operational processes.
• Participate in incident management activities and support operational excellence initiatives.
