Job summary

Exact seeks an Application Operations Engineer to ensure the stability and performance of cloud-hosted applications in a multi-cloud environment (Azure and AWS). You will monitor, maintain, and improve operational processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Europe and Asia to deliver reliable services to hundreds of thousands of users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in IT/CS.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in Application Operations or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting production applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and improve continuously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, availability, and performance of cloud-hosted applications.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, alerts, and operational issues.
• Perform operational tasks related to application management and maintenance.
• Execute updates and configuration changes per procedures.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Product teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and process improvements.
• Support incident management and operational excellence initiatives.
• Learn and develop expertise in cloud technologies and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Europe and Asia to ensure a reliable customer experience.
