Job summary
Exact is seeking a Junior/Medior Application Engineer to join the Application Operations team in Delft and Utrecht. You will ensure the stability, performance, and availability of cloud-hosted applications across multi-cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
You will work with cross-functional teams, monitor services, investigate incidents, and help automate and document operational processes while learning cloud technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
- 2-3 years in Application Operations or similar role.
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
- Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting production apps.
- Strong analytical and teamwork skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Monitor health, availability, and performance of cloud-hosted applications.
- Investigate incidents and resolve operational issues.
- Perform maintenance and application management tasks.
- Execute updates and configuration changes per procedures.
- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and Product teams.
- Contribute to monitoring, automation, and documentation improvements.
- Support incident management and operational excellence initiatives.
