Job summary

Scala Enterprise in Sittard, NL is seeking a Technical Reliability Engineer to strengthen service reliability and security across customer and cloud environments. You will bridge cloud management and support, and drive uptime.

You will own onboarding and continuous improvement, implement monitoring, alerting and automation, lead RCA when incidents occur, and work in a small team to share knowledge and develop professionally.

Qualifications

• HBO/WO level in computer science or similar with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms is necessary; AWS preferred.
• Experience with Amazon CloudWatch or Azure Monitor.
• AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer - Associate or equivalent certificate is a must.
• Knowledge of ITIL is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy & optimization: manage cloud solutions and organize support for stability.
• Incident & Bug Management: lead major failures and draft RCA reports.
• Network monitoring: ensure large customer networks are up and running and monitor issues.
• Escalations: act as a technical expert for the support teams daily.
