Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking an IT Support Engineer (L2) to join our Northern Netherlands team. You will provide onsite support across warehouse and office locations, resolve incidents, manage IT equipment, and assist with business applications, acting as the local IT face for operations.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent onsite experience, hands-on support in office or operational environments, ITIL familiarity, and experience with ServiceNow.

• Knowledge of printers, scanning solutions, and warehouse tech is a plus.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and prioritization skills.

We're looking for an IT Support Engineer (L2) who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with end users, and keeping operational environments running smoothly. This role combines traditional IT support with hands-on support in warehouse and logistics operations, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and working close to the business.

What You'll Do

As an IT Support Engineer, you'll provide onsite support across our warehouse and office locations in the Northern Netherlands. Acting as part of our Level 2 support team, you'll be responsible for resolving incidents, maintaining IT equipment, supporting business applications, and serving as the local face of IT for operational teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing onsite support for warehouse technology such as RF scanners, label printers, and operational devices.
• Supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and other end-user hardware.
• Managing local printers, meeting room technology, and audiovisual equipment.
• Supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, including user setup and basic Microsoft 365 training.
• Delivering first-line application support for WMS, TMS, and other local business applications through troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Acting as remote hands for regional infrastructure and IT operations teams.
• Escalating complex incidents and coordinating with external vendors where required.
• Maintaining accurate asset management records and ensuring all activities are properly documented within the IT service management platform.
• Supporting testing, implementations, and rollout activities for business and IT projects.
• Promoting cybersecurity awareness and ensuring compliance with IT policies and best practices.

Who We're Looking For

You're a hands-on IT professional who enjoys helping people and solving problems. You can communicate effectively with both operational colleagues and technical specialists and are comfortable working in fast-paced warehouse and office environments.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience in onsite IT support.
• Experience providing hands-on IT support in office, warehouse, manufacturing, or operational environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and IT Service Management processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform.
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows, Android, iOS, PC hardware, IP networking, and workplace technologies.
• Knowledge of printers, scanning solutions, and warehouse technology is a strong advantage.
• Experience within logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding environments is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and capable of managing priorities independently.
