Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking an IT On-Site Engineer to join our Level 2 IT support team in Amsterdam (Schiphol). You will provide hands-on support across warehouse and office locations, resolving incidents, maintaining equipment and assisting end-users.

The role blends warehouse tech with traditional IT support, offering variety and ownership close to business operations. You will work with RF scanners, printers, and end-user devices, perform onboarding/offboarding, and contribute to IT projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent onsite IT support experience.
• Hands-on IT support in office, warehouse, manufacturing or operational environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and ITSM processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform.
• Understanding of Windows, Android, iOS, PC hardware, IP networking and workplace technologies.
• Knowledge of printers, scanning solutions and warehouse technology is advantageous.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing or freight forwarding environments preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, reliable and able to manage priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage local printers, meeting room tech and audiovisual equipment.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding activities, user setup and basic Microsoft 365 training.

• Act as remote hands for regional infra and IT operations teams.
• Escalate complex incidents and coordinate with external vendors as needed.
• Maintain asset management records and document activities in the ITSM system.
• Support testing, implementations and rollout activities for IT projects.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and ensure IT policy compliance.

Your Profile Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience in onsite IT support. Experience providing hands-on IT support in office, warehouse, manufacturing, or operational environments. Familiarity with ITIL principles and IT Service Management processes. Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform. Understanding of Microsoft Windows, Android, iOS, PC hardware, IP networking, and workplace technologies. Knowledge of printers, scanning solutions, and warehouse technology is a strong advantage. Experience within logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding environments is preferred.
