Job description

If you are a current DSV employee and interested in a position in another country, please contact your Human Resource representative to discuss the process and requirements of applying.

Move forward as Inventory Controller at DSV in Maastricht

Do you get energy from working with data and do you dare to take the initiative? Your creativity in finding the right solutions is appreciated within our international environment.

You get it done

You make sure that the right articles are present in the right place at the right time and in the right quantity so that the warehouse operation runs as smoothly as possible. Your workplace is one moment in the warehouse and the next from behind a screen making the right analyses: you’re on it.

How you do this? You run various reports so that the right stocks can be handled smarter. So that the warehouse can be used as optimally as possible. As inventory controller, you are responsible for planning, setting, checking and reporting on the physical stock within our warehouse. In addition, you facilitate and coordinate the daily cycle counts. The more accurately this is tracked and reported on, the better the processes in the warehouse are run.

In your first year as inventory controller, you will follow several training courses, which will allow you to know all the ins-and-outs of our warehouse management system in no time. You will get this done by:

  • spotting discrepancies between physical stocks and stock data in the system;
  • analysing product turnover rates and determining the correct placement of products in the warehouse;
  • analysing stock differences and arriving at an appropriate solution. For now, but also for the future;
  • processing inventory data in our system, generating reports for management and operations and independently performing analyses to come to proactive solutions.

Your team stands out for its good energy. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that all processes (warehouse-related) deliver even better productivity. And an even better job satisfaction of all colleagues.
